It's getting warmer. The days are getting longer. And we can finally put the hats and scarves away (almost)! But is your hair ready for its spring reveal? If you didn't stick to a nurturing haircare regimen this winter, don't worry. There's still time to perfect your spring hair!
3 Tips for Getting Your Hair Ready for Spring
- Get a Trim. After spending the winter months in buns, ponytails, and hats, or being covered by scarves, your ends are due for a trim. Cutting dead ends will make your spring hair look fresher and healthier. If you absolutely must skip the trim, see tip #2.
- Deep Condition. A deep conditioning treatment will do wonders to rehab your hair. It will help replenish moisture, combat frizz and make your hair more manageable. And the right deep conditioner will help make frayed ends look better!
- Use Lighter Products. In the winter, we tend to use heavy products on our hair. Try switching to lighter products. Skip the heavy pomades and serums. Try lighter leave-ins and gels instead.
